Steam Showers Have Great Physical and Mental Benefits
Life is pretty hectic and stressful for most of us, and it’s nice if we can incorporate some relaxing or soothing things into our schedule. I know in my family, I’m running around to drop off and pick up my kids at school, soccer practice, music lessons, doctor’s appointments, not to mention I work a full time job! Needless to say, I don’t have much time or resources to go to the spa, and that’s when my husband decided it was time to bring the spa to me. He went shopping for steam showers, and brought the perfect one home to install in our master bathroom.
Having a steam shower has transformed my well being. Steam is great for helping detoxify my body and relax my tense muscles. I didn’t realize how tense I am most of the time, and the muscle knots I had everywhere. Now the steam penetrates these knots and helps work them out and release the stress chemicals embedded in these knots, and I’m walking around feeling much better. The steam also keeps my pores flushed out and clean, and my skin is absolutely glowing! I use my little personal home spa as often as I can, which is usually a couple times a week, and it has made such a difference in how I feel.
Getting a steam shower will not only give you great physical benefits, but it will give you mental ones as well. I love my life, don’t get me wrong, but I do need a few minutes of peace and quiet a few times a week for my sanity. My new fabulous steam shower kit gives me a place to retreat to, and while I steam I can enjoy a few precious minutes to myself. All I can hear is the quiet, and the steam envelopes me in a peaceful place, where I can re-center and recharge, a very valuable thing to a wife, mother, and employee! If I’m recharged, I can be better at all my tasks and enjoy everything more than if I was feeling completely frazzled 24-7.
I couldn’t be happier with my new steam shower and shower column, and the whole family enjoys a much more balanced and relaxed woman of the household because of it. Thank goodness my husband found a piece of the spa to bring into our home.
